Nimanthi Kulasinghe
Hi, I’m Nimanthi.

I am an NZAC-registered counsellor who supports children, young people, and families through a range of mental health challenges. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and able to talk openly about what’s going on for you.

My approach is practical and compassionate, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care, along with mindfulness-based, creative methods such as art and movement Therapy. I tailor each session to the individual, supporting people through both everyday stress and more complex experiences.

My aim is to offer sessions that feel safe, practical, and meaningful, helping people reconnect with their strengths and move toward the kind of life that feels right for them. I am committed to culturally safe practice and working in a way that respects each person’s background and identity.

If you feel ready to take the next step, you are welcome to book with me.
