I have many years’ experience working as a counsellor and social worker. I am a committed to supporting adolescents (17 +) and adults experiencing a range of trials.

My aim is to provide you with a space that is confidential, safe, practical, and meaningful; while helping you connect with your strengths and to move towards the kind of life that feels right for you. I value open communication and working together collaboratively in a way that supports positive and lasting change.

I work alongside people facing complex experiences, including trauma, relationship challenges, and workplace issues. This includes bullying and recovery from difficult work environments, as well as critical incidents. I have also worked with people who have concerns about gambling whether themselves or a family member affected by the gambling.

My approach is warm, practical, and focused on helping you feel supported while working through what’s going on.

When working clients, I draw upon Trauma Informed Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Interactive Drawing Therapy, Te Whare Tapu Wha, Te Wheke, along with mindfulness-based practices. I tailor each session to the individual to find the right approach to suit their needs and preferences and I place a strong focus on each person’s strengths and values.

If you feel ready to take the next step, you are welcome to book with me.
